St Margaret's Church, Altrincham

Funerals

Anyone can hold a funeral service at our churches and you need not be a regular attender or even live within our parish.

The service would be according to the Christian tradition which has been found to be profoundly supportive to families for centuries.  You may have your own plans of how you want to say goodbye to your loved one, and we will help you incorporate these within the Christian tradition, whilst helping you choose suitable readings, hymns and music.

We also want to build up a picture of the person’s life and will meet with you to discuss and agree your wishes and plans.

Music

Your choice of music at this time is a poignant reflecting your loved one and pays tribute to their life. Our organist will be so pleased to help and advise on a suitable and fitting musical tribute.

To begin the process of a farewell to your loved one, contact your funeral director who will then liaise with us.
